DEVELOPING WHOLESOME PERSONALITY
In addition to regular school activities the SECPAD students also enjoy fruits of many extra-curricular activities which help them discover and develop their personal hidden talents and skills. Besides increasing their association with the school and their studies, these activities also help them in improving their social skills and provide them additional positive opportunities and ways to develop a wholesome personality and to create a better space for themselves in the community.
As a result of this approach and activities the students of our school have bagged many prizes at individual and collective levels. One example is the awards in district Kargil level quiz contest in year 2022 which was unprecedented in the history of the Zanskar Valley.
The school organize annual school sports meet, culture day, parents' visits and school picnic besides celebrating most of the national and international important days by organizing inter house quiz, drawing, essay writing and speech contest to keep the children enlightened about the world around him besides the book knowledge. The school also takes participation in inter school quiz, sports and other writing contest in which secpad school has secured/ begged many prize and had the opportunity and honour to represent Zanskar subdivision as the first school from Zanskar at district( Kargil) level quiz contest in year 2022 which was unprecedented in the history of the valley.
